Service A - disruption

We'd like to apologise to customers who may have been late for work or college this morning, due to the horrendous traffic congestion on the A27 through West End and Mansbridge.
We know many of you were stood by the side of the road waiting for buses that were crawling along in nose-to-tail traffic diverted off the motorway.
The worst affected journey, the 0738 from Botley to Eastleigh, arrived in Eastleigh exactly one hour late, meaning that it took three times as long as scheduled to complete its journey.
When traffic is this bad, there really is nothing we can do to keep to time and we can only apologise. We did mobilise spare buses and drivers however to make sure that every journey operated and there were no cancellations, despite the delays.
